Got SLingPro funding from Saarland University

Thanks to Saarland University I got funding to investigate linguistic profiles of social variables such as age, gender or social class. For this my team and I are analyzing the Old Bailey Corpus (Huber et al. 2016) build from the Proceedings of the Old Bailey Court in London. We’re using probabilistic modeling to consider linguistic features typical of social variables as well as the interplay between variables.
