This week I’ve been visiting the .txtLab, a laboratory for cultural analytics, @McGill led by Prof. Andrew Piper. It was a great visit, with wounderful discussions and interesting people. He and his group explore the use of computational and quantitative approaches towards understanding literature and culture in both the past and present aiming a more inclusive understanding of culture and creativity.
In my talk on I presented our work on the linguistic development of scientific writing within project B1 of our Collaborative Research Center 1102.
